We did; always mineral oiled or painted boards and wool rugs- I wouldn’t want carpets for toddlers. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC... Boards are easy to repair and maintain. That’s not to say she should be left to do it, just that I find many people are removing carpets. Each to their own.
