That thing when you leave lime mortar to mix for too long and it goes a bit dry- and your pointing turns into a display of cosmic physics

Not only are the individual pages of Sections 9 (dealing with habeas corpus) and 10 (dealing with powers of Congress) of Article 1 missing from the Constitution on the .gov site, but theyโ€™re missing from the full version too, along with the end of Sect 8. Last complete version was July 17.

Painting of a house in Glinton, Cambs I did many moons ago. Land of Barnack stone; Stamford's Georgian quality a strong influence in that area. Porch would be about 1850.

IMO, Suez was an overreach in foreign affairs; Starmer is best at that and is managing US relations surprisingly well. Domestic policy is affected by diminished trade income from a public vote for isolationism. He never asked for Brexit, which is seldom named, but carries the can for its solution.

The thing about working in building conservation is that you no longer look at a scene like this and believe thatโ€™s what your ancestors saw.

Consider it as a rebuke to AI: think for yourself without asking Grok; draw on old-fashioned real paper and learn and create things with actual humans! All without relying on an energy- guzzlinโ€™ data centre.

Jewsonโ€™s: 75mm masonry bolts ยฃ4.79 each. Need 6- wow, thatโ€™s ยฃ28.74. Check Screwfix: pack of 6 of the same brand is ยฃ6.99! Ask at the counter and he runs the code through the system: โ€œtheyโ€™re 99pโ€. โ€œBut the label on the stand says ยฃ4.79 each!โ€. โ€œYeah, thatโ€™s what theyโ€™d LIKE to get.โ€ Excuse me?
