Some year, I will start working on my faculty activity report before the day it is due, but this is not that year.

We're going to go cheer on Penn State hockey (both women's and men's) tomorrow and Saturday at Beaver Stadium. It's going to be both awesome and cold, so I just spent a bunch of money on lots of layers and rechargeable hand warmers. #shoplocal

Driveway currently clear with an assist from the next door neighbor with a snowblower. Will need to be cleared again tomorrow but at least it's light and fluffy snow.

It's snowing -- it's going to be snowing for a while. But we have power, heat, and a big batch of chili in the crockpot. We're fine.

2025 home ownership update: also a new refrigerator and a new front door.

I love my library cards but why do the books I've had on hold for months all become available within a few days of one another. Just had to throw one book back with "deliver later" because I can't read that fast.

We're getting a new refrigerator delivered this afternoon & we just did an archeological dig on all the stuff stuck on the old refrigerator: menus for restaurants that don't exist, minor league baseball & college hockey schedules for seasons long past, out of date bus route schedules, etc.
