Part 1 of the biggest individual project I've ever worked on is finally here, looking at the very best matches in British Wrestling in 2024.

Heads up, part 1 of my 2024 BritWres Top 50 Matches list is set for release on Monday Night.

Been working on this for a while, too much of my time, admittedly.

But I’m looking forward to fully casting the spotlight on the BritWres scene as shows begin to ramp up this upcoming month.

This time next year, I will be in the Tokyo Dome itself for Wrestle Kingdom 20.

Before anyone asks, I don’t currently know for sure what my BritWres Match of the Year is.

Recent events have complicated matters…

Though I wonder if there’s any matches that I might potentially miss.

19 promotions will be considered in full, with another one covered partially, so I know I’ll be missing a few out there.

Should have watched 1,100+ matches by the time this is all done.

That’s considering the shows I’ll have attended and watched online.

Working on a list for the best 50 BritWres matches in 2024.

Having to whittle around what will likely be 130 matches into a list of 50 is proving difficult with the matches that are already on my longlist.

I think I’ve got a good 15 or so matches locked in for the final list so far.

There’s a new ruler at the head of @wresurgence.bsky.social.

Their name is Kanji after a war with @charlievanspro.bsky.social.
