[ silksong spoilers ] i’m literally at the last judge fight and dying to the boss or dying to my controller is like 50/50. i’m going to lose it

my pc has recently decided it doesn’t want to connect any of my bluetooth devices which means my controller cuts out randomly during games which means no silksong i’m going to waaail

a small wolfwood. he's in a crowd of people who are yelling "Ah! Ah! Waah!" and running away in the opposite direction he's facing. he's looking around, mouth open and eyes wide, saying "Hmm?" with an expression of surprise and recognition as he spots vash in the chaotic crowd. he is very tiny and he's got his arms out and shoulders all hunched up making his suit pointy and terribly cute while somehow still retaining softness as a whole. he is reminiscent of a gummy candy; a very chewable wolfwood.

was playing phasmophobia with the siblings and our new tradition is to say “oh look it’s millions knives” every time we find a ribcage on the ground

the manga also suffers from pacing issues & scenes that are difficult to keep up with (the fight scenes are gibberish ngl) but stampede is so jam-packed that it’s like being force fed character backstories/development instead of watching it all gradually & naturally unfold through the narrative

filler can be okay and i need studios to understand! give some time to develop your characters and their relationships! show your world through a more mundane, day-to-day lens!! stampede would have benefited from some slower episodes in between the madness

somehow all characters feel simultaneously watered-down and over-explained in tristamp which erases the quiet/subtle characterization that really makes me love the characters in trimax

plus (presumably) erase her trans identity in favor of making her a human/plant hybrid lab experiment. elendira gets the worst of it tbh but i really do not like their handling of pretty much all the characters in the reboot

like part of elendira’s intimidation in maximum came from the fact that she’s mysterious and aloof and that all the reader knows for certain is that she’s terrifyingly powerful. tristamp really did not need to scrounge up a backstory/tie-in with the eye of michael for her

i am going to feed the demon in your heart because ohhhg what they did with elendira in stampede fills me with loathing. canon transwoman gets turned into an alien lab baby in the reboot. and one thing that drives me insane abt stampede is its need to give everything an explanation or backstory

it’s definitely a big undertaking for one person;-; passion projects are so much fun but also so draining unfortunately

between having issues with manufacturers for the plushies and charms and even the dang shipping boxes, issues with USPS, and my own errors/oversights holding progress up.......learned a lot but it's time for a break lol

i'm ngl after the insurance girl plushies leftovers are all finished/sent out i'm taking a break doing merch projects.....it was fun but the amount of obstacles/holds up through every single phase of the project really wore me down

ofc the passion the team put into it is clear but also if it’s a passion project how did they fumble so much of trimax’s fundamental characterizations and themes

idek how to explain my feelings abt tristamp these days like as time passes the more and more bleh i feel about it. i’m glad it introduced me to trigun but it’s also absent of pretty much everything that made me latch onto trigun longterm
