Super excited for LosCon 50 in 3 days, where I'll be speaking on panels about space and costuming. And attending every writing panel they have. Can't wait to see everyone there.

Ah, the annual ritual of logging into the SDCC waiting room and joining a million of my closest friends in the running of the registrations. :D

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Each year, the trans community loses too many lives, especially trans women of color, to hate and violence.

More than ever, we must stand by our trans family and support them, hold space for them, and insist the scapegoating and targeting stop.

Now.

Not having to worry if the bills will be paid. A warm home. Meaningful work that helps others. Time for art and learning new things. Time in green spaces. My loved ones' health. Clean air, water, and food. Freedom to love.

Depends on the person. I have peeps who post once a month, and some who seem to pay once an hour. Just like Twitter.

I left that other social media place when their owner fired the ethics and accessibility teams a couple years ago. Happy to see this place getting traction!
