This right here is the problem with "vote blue no matter who". These people don't actually believe in it, they're just centrists who are privileged enough to have candidates that cater directly to them and demand that the voters cater directly to them as well.

The problem is, some of these questions are pretty binary. Someone who's anti-trans and someone who's made it clear they will do nothing to stop the anti-trans movements are functionally the same for trans voters.

The easier thing to do is run a pro-trans candidate.

It's not a difficult question to answer man.

If Trump was, hypothetically, the Dem candidate, I would not vote for him.

It's not a gotcha at all, I'm just saying that the whole "VBNMW" thing is a lot more palatable when you have no fundamental or moral objections to the candidates.

For a lot of people however, that's just not the case.

The problem is we can't change the makeup of the party until the DNC is willing to let it happen.

Mamdani was able to beat the odds, but there are countless other candidates who weren't even allowed to get off the starting line, and we don't have time to wait for hundreds of once in a decade shots.

He's the presidential candidate and he won by coming in 5th in the primary until he won South Carolina and then all the other candidates dropped out for some unknown reason.
