In two of the stills we see both of them either side of the open door.

Superb. An amazingly bleak Eastern European-style art movie masquerading as a Western. One scene in particular, where the camera follows the gang of crazed robbers around as they force the women of the community to dance with them at the local saloon, could easily have come from a Bela Tarr movie.
