As a SoCal raised kid, Minnesota was one of the most welcoming places I’ve ever experienced. Snowmobiles, sushi, Thai food, samosas, hot dish from the neighbors, it was so much more metropolitan than what I expected.

Yeah, it has its regressive parts, but the cities are the American dream.

I don’t know if I can say this the right way, but I’m glad people are trying to give things to Minnesota that can be fortifying. Not just resources, but moments to feel supported and appreciated.
