I think it depends on the context of why they are asking. If it’s a general they want to know who you are as a writer then yes maybe (a) but if they are asking from the pov of looking for a new slate then pick the one which most aligns to their tastes!

Dickens was great at this! Although some of his supporting characters can be quite cartoony but he always defines them by a specific physical characteristic or clearly defined speech habit.

2024 was a good writing year! I finished a female buddy comedy, a monster movie & am halfway through a contained thriller which people seem to be really enjoying! also started a fantasy novel & a kpop comedy/drama feature! Looking forward to getting more things finished and made in 2025

I do both too! It is quite nice to just be able to tell the readers exactly what’s going on inside a character’s head!!!

Hubby and I got funding to direct a short film adaptation of one of our works!

I would LOVE the opportunity to shadow a horror director first - if anyone has a shoot scheduled between now and June of 2025. (Particularly in L.A.)

But turkey sandwiches & turkey curry are the best!!! I feel spec scripts are like that - they may not get made in their original form but they lead onto something just as tasty
