Every once in a while (not too frequently, fortunately), somebody will ask why X character is Y or Z in one of my comics, to which my usual response is to look at them baffled and explain that the world I live in - as a mixed race person - is reflected in the worlds I create.

I’m the biggest advocate for criticism. But yeah people are overly critical lately for sure. They forgot how to have fun.
