Today I got the sad news, this morning that my dad has passed away, not exactly the best wakeup call but one I was expecting to happen eventually, I just hope that it was a peaceful passing and that he did not suffer; may his spirit ride on in the afterlife

So I have no idea what to do for a Halloween icon or image this year- Normally I would draw something but the only thing I'm drawing is blanks because I don't even know what to put Vivi (or any character of mine) in tho I still currently have access to paint since I am on my laptop and not my old pc

I had so much fun creating this look! I wanted to blend my favorite features from a few of my characters, like starry hair and a moon marking, along with some nice wavy hair. It was a bit tricky since I only had paint to work with after switching from my old PC to a new gaming laptop. However, I must admit that I still really love how it turned out and wouldn't hesitate to go back to this look!

You know this was one of those moments when I was drawing really late on and was just going with the flow and this came out... Do I like it? Kinda? Does it cry me?? Ehhhh- but it's tied to a design I really like, just different and not in a good way...

This... I still adore it so much, but I don't see it as myself – firstly, she dresses better despite me creating her LOL, and secondly, I kind of gave her a backstory, so she went from being me to being another OC.

Did y'all know that I have a character who represents me? I do! However, I can never seem to settle on a design for her. Trying to put all the things I like into one character is definitely a challenge, so I often end up redesigning her. This is her current look, let's see how long it lasts 😂

In some better news than what I've been posting lately- I'm really enjoying the Crossworlds Open Network Test. I don't usually play racing games, but I'm having a lot of fun. The festival that took place yesterday was great! Also, most of my custom stuff is based on Vivi or as close as I can get XD

Managing stress levels has been challenging, particularly on an emotional level, especially when a family member is gradually losing their cognitive abilities. Some days it feels like we're talking to a parrot, while on other days, we can see him being himself, or as much of himself as he can be.

Update time- My dad has moved to a new place that is much closer to where my mum and I live. That’s what’s been happening over the last week or two. Time has been a bit of a blur lately, but I guess that can happen when things get busy and you're trying to keep stress levels down as much as possible

I am experimenting with designs, wanting to declutter my character.

And I do fear that visit will be the last, but that is the harsh reality of having a family member who is terminally ill; he could be gone tomorrow, next week, next month or anytime soon, which is why I am grateful, but holy moly does it hurt and gets stressful at times.

I recently visited my dad at the place he’s staying. It felt kinda strange seeing him. He still looks like my dad in the face, but it’s clear he’s lost a lot of weight, which is what happens when someone is terminally ill; I will admit it's a bit scary, and it did hurt.
