Also, the full-screen, animated album art on Apple Music is real fun. Scott and Ramona run across the screen while these dudes chat in the back of the alley and some tiny pixel birdies fly by.

Like I said, with all the talent on this project it doesn't seem like it could be anything worse than a good game. The only Tribute Game's title I've played is Shredder's Revenge and I thought it was fantastic, so based on that I figured that SPEX will be at least as good or better.

I'd honestly be shocked if they got the original game's "band" (Brian Lee O'Malley, Tribute Games, Paul Robertson and Anamanaguchi) back together and the game turned out bad. Like, how could that happen? It can't, right?

Scott Pilgrim EX is out tomorrow and there are no advance reviews. That normally worries me, but there's no way this isn't a good game, right?

I re-played all the 2D Metroid games prior to Dread, each on a different system. I played Zero Mission on a GBA SP and switched to a DS Lite for Fusion. I now prefer it for GBA games since it's more comfortable to hold than the GBA SP is.

My latest for @theavclubgames.bsky.social is on the 40th anniversary of original The Legend of Zelda, and its role as a streamliner of the complicated, demanding, and burgeoning action RPG. This classic did not come out of nowhere, but was to action RPGs what Dragon Quest was for turn-based ones.

I’ve only played RE4, RE1 (GameCube), and some of CV. Lots of these games are on PS+ but I don’t know where to dive back into the franchise. Any suggestions?

Yeah sometimes I'm happy that I was born just a bit too early to get truly caught up in the Pokemon craze. I've casually played and enjoyed a number of the games, but that's it.

Dude they straight up own 32% of TPCi, that obviously comes with pull over what TPCi does. Case in point: music from other Pokemon games is available on Nintendo Music. They uploaded FireRed/LeafGreen just last week. They could totally get Red/Blue music on there, but they chose to do this instead.
