And the human energy required to handle the sails, several people, and all the jumps to trim the sails. Do you confirm the overall impression? (This is so cool 🤩)

A burgeoning AI boycott plasters the NYC subway New Yorkers began vandalizing ads for dystopian AI products bombarding the city last fall, sparking a larger movement of AI rejection

“As tech giants force-feed AI inevitability marketing and trumpet the technology’s supposed benefits to society, a robust AI-resistance movement has emerged in response.”

Great visual design in the exhibition. They have produced a beautiful catalog of the 26 reinterpretated objects. They ask people to think about both positive & negative of technologies that are dependent on coal, oil or gas, and how we might do things differently.

I sent this before a meeting, forgetting to include the text: we really liked the Mercure Faubourg Opéra, it must be even more beautiful in June. Brunch at Rose Bakery. Tea at Toraya. And for dinner, probably ramens on Rue Sainte-Anne.

Yes, the challenge is that I don't want to order another skein (mill in Ireland, €14 for the wool, €15 for postage), so I'm going to try again with fewer stitches, using the few hours I currently have available for knitting. We got this ✨

Can we start a pity party? Here's my sleeve before unravelling. It's too wide and I don't have enough yarn, so unravelling is the most realistic solution. If I could help you remove the interfacing, I would gladly do so. It's so sad (and your embroidery is so beautiful).

A lesson about networks that I’m kind of proud of: at the beginning of the year, I gave my 200 students a dumb survey: fav books, foods, etc. I told them they could use pseudonyms and that I’d share their responses with the class. We’ve been using that data in various ways: to make points about +
