Introduce yourself! Start talking! You'll make a climbing buddy. I challenged myself to talk to climbers at the gym (I'm terrible with talking to strangers) a couple years ago, and now there's never a time I go to the gym when I don't know someone (and we can chat beta). It's amazing!
