It's "Giving Tuesday" - so chuck in a few $ for your fave charity.
@edolawyers.bsky.social are doubling donations today.
Making good trouble!

Watched "Chopper" again last night.
In the same vein as " Mr Inbetween", our distinctly Australian contribution to crime drama. Darkly comic.
You scold yourself for laughing and feeling sympathy... but when it turns... it's even more horrifying for that.
Both brilliant.

Single frame. Man at table with Netanyahu, Israel flag behind. Man says “How’s the ceasefire holding.?” Netanyahu replies, “Well… it’s keeping the ongoing genocide off the front pages…which was a distraction from my judicial crackdown, which drew attention away from our brutal settlement expansion, which kept my corruption charges out of the public eye…”

Nesting offences.

Hard to find this disaster on the front pages of the nation's online news ... our nearest neighbours.

Are there any bounties in place? Surely that could help - and plenty of keen shooters I'd imagine.

Had our native bee hives divided - now we have three.
And a haul about 1kg of honey... unlike honey you've ever tasted. Almost sweet and sour, delish!
Do so recommend native bees, they're tiny, lovely and lazy. Lovely things. Child and pet friendly :) #nativebees

The comforts and conundrums of ageing As the average life span extends ever closer to 100 years, and possibly more in the not too distant future, what are we to do with this extra time on Earth?

"Even if it were possible, there’s not an age I’d choose to relive,” writes Wendy Harmer. “Every decade comes with its own singular, immutable character. Its achievements, joys, trials and tribulations.”

Husband being unkind about my fringe - says looks like it was done with either a breadknife or a rusty tin lid.
TBH - both are possible!

A little something from me @thesaturdaypaper.com.au on ageing.

Phew - only three days until I can stop railing about Christmas decorations being up in November.
And I've got about four weeks until I start whingeing about Easter Eggs.

FYI: I was offered the same deal by Telecom - cash under the table in return for favourable on-air comment - when I was on breakfast radio at 2DayFM. Immediately turned it down.
It's called "integrity".

(Wrote about it in my memoir, BTW)

If I’m understanding this correctly, X is owned by a white nationalist who pays poor people of color in developing countries to pretend to be working class white Americans to scare other white Americans into being afraid poor people of color from developing countries are going to ruin America?

Don't have to tell us here in OZ what bastards Equinor are.
It was all hands on deck to kick them out of plans to drill in the Great Australian Bight. Tens of thousands of us told them to piss off!
No way, Norway!
