Don't mind the photo BG though it's just a placeholder until I figure out what to do for BGs. (I will probably draw them but I'm worried about them looking horrible ahhh...)

My queer horror game I worked on for 3 years was deindexed on itchio.

This game has been pretty much my life and purpose these years and is based on many of my own challenges of figuring myself out later in life. To say this has gutted me is an understatement.

The game was perhaps the most meaningful one (to me) I've ever worked on... I don't know how I feel seeing it go. I don't know how I feel, knowing survivors like me will be silenced at every opportunity.

This censorship does not protect survivors of assault. It protects the perpetrators of it.

What's not helping either is that a game I worked on got deindexed 🥴

When I was in fifth grade, my teachers thought I was going to take my life. They did nothing to help me, instead encouraging it. One of them told me that I was a 'miserable person who dragged everyone down with me' and was surprised to see I was alive the next year.
