Raw Sienna to warm up the sky since it doesn’t mix into green when it’s next to blue. Cerulean Blue for skies & mixing bright greens. Cobalt Blue I could’ve left out. Lavender for fun neutral mixes. And Daniel Smith’s Jane’s Grey which is Ultramarine/Bt Sienna mixed grey.

I doubled up my Yellow Light, one for clean & one for mixing, & doubled the most used Ultramarine Blue & Burnt Sienna.
Phthalo Green for mixing & making blacks with Quin Rose, and the super strong Phthalo Blue for bright mixes.

I knew I wanted at minimum an 8-color split primary warm/cool palette. But since this was for very quick & easy painting plein air, I went with an expanded 13-color split palette.
@portablePainter makes expansion pans that divides them into 2-4 wells. Pretty clever.

Picking which watercolor paint colors for my minimal travel #PortablePainterMicro limited palette was so surprisingly difficult.

Beautiful vocals that had me in tears.
Alicia grew up just down the block & to have her story performed at the Schubert & see her name on marquees on Broadway 👏
