Really enjoyed #NuzzFest @nuzzles.uk this year, took so many pictures (along with @ducky.ws taking ones of the drag show). Can't wait for next year to come round to see even more of you there

Will say that one of them who DMd me has his face all over the place and complained about privacy, don't think they understand that anyone can see their public profile and their face/name/location from their profile

to any clients yet to handle the sensitive content toggle, which who knows what service Telegram will use, whether it's their own they quickly rolled out or some untrusted service, or even worse, crypto "inspired" age verification that you have to pay for

and people have already found ways around it with a VPN or even faking the unspecced endpoint to say they are verified if self-hosted on a PDS. I found out earlier today too that my Telegram channel comes up with an 18+ warning that you can't even get rid of because they haven't pushed an update

It isn't really "our" platform or we could decide to not have any age verification. It sucks it is even happening but people have known for a long time it would happen at some point. People can protest on this platform but it won't go anywhere, they have to comply or be blocked

It is pretty amazing how all that works and is linked, just the other day while using the self-service I dropped something and suddenly had a replay of what was dropped and put back with object tracking on it. It was weird seeing it knowing stuff like that is recorded all the time

So much this, don't think people realise just how much they post online and that it can already be used on AI, even if you've never posted your face you will have when younger like everyone else has, or a family member or friend will have done

I just did the video because it's easier than having to use a debit/credit card. Already used Yoti before and have an account so managed to verify my other account with that email as a test

Had a couple of people DM me that I won't name, if you really don't want to verify your age but you're still posting about how bad it is and so on, go delete your Bluesky account and use another service, nothing will change by you posting how bad Epic Games is, people already know

Yes, I know it uses Epic Games KWS, but they receive nothing back from Yoti other than your age estimate, they don't see your face (they can just crawl your Bluesky account if they want) and it's all secure from Yoti anyway. If you don't want to verify your age then use something like deer.social

Don't know why people are bitching so much about the age verification, it uses Yoti (at least in the UK) which is trusted by a lot of companies already, and if you've already got a Yoti account and verified your age, you just need to use the same email and you're good to go

Just want to say a big thank you to all the @nuzzles.uk staff and extra volunteers that we had ❤️ the event wouldn't have ran as well without all of you putting in the hard work that you did.

Expect pictures to be posted in a week or two, I'll be taking a big rest before I start on editing them

I had an absolutely awesome time at #NuzzFest and enjoyed every moment of it. Got to meet a lot of people and take sooo many photos over the past few days while also helping out in any way that I could

What a week at #Nuzzfest. It's been non-stop, it's been a rollercoaster, it's been emotionally draining... and it's been a huge amount of fun.

Writing a list of stuff I need to pack for @nuzzles.uk #Nuzzfest and realising I should have started sooner 😨 Got batteries to charge, gear to pack, so much stuff, but it will all be worth it when I'm there.
