📢 FLIRT Study hits new milestone: First participants enrolled! Led by Prof. Greg Fox and funded by NHMRC, the study's a collaborative effort, coordinated by SVI with the National Lung Hospital – National Tuberculosis Program and other local partners in an endeavor to eliminate TB from the community.

Our Clinical Trial team just hit a major milestone for the TBSWAB study (part of the FLIRT trial) by successfully recruiting the first participants for TB research in adolescents (10-19) using a new approach of the Xpert MTB/RIF Ultra test on tongue swab samples.

From July 1, 2025, Vietnam's administrative map is getting a major overhaul:
- Provinces/cities drop from 63 to 34!
- Communes/wards consolidated: 10,035+ down to ~3,300.
- HCMC's 22 districts/Thu Duc City become 102 wards.
- Phu Quoc, Truong Sa, Con Dao become special commune-level zones.
