Manages to speak again and knows it’s not really Nagi that he’s asking, but himself. ’It wouldn’t have shocked you?’ ‘Like getting tea in your ear when you’re meditating,’ Zantetsu pipes up, hands roving until they collide with Reo’s. ‘Water when you’re sleeping, idiot,’ he says with a scoff, batting one of his hands away. ‘Who taught you these idioms?’ He curls his hands tighter around Nagi, grabs a fistful of his compression vest and pulls him back until he’s almost laid out on the bench, shoulder pressed against Reo’s hip. Zantetsu scowls up at him. ‘Don’t call me that.’ ‘An idiom?’ ‘Shut up, Nagi,’ Reo says, but there’s no malice in it.
