I do want to thank you all that have been understanding and patient at this time. I know this was last minute, and I do understand other commissioners' frustration at the sudden wait for their commissions. I can promise you that the hiatus wasn't it planned.

So, while I have two commissions completed already, those will be the first ones that I will post. The first one being next Friday, and the second being the following Friday.

After that, I will continue working on the commissions I have left.

While I won't say things have gotten better (they more or less have been the same), I feel that I'm able to return back to posting art on my accounts and complete the commissions that I left hanging this year.

My announcement for my 6-9 month Hiatus back in March was due to my immediate family member being given that much time to live, and I wanted to spend their last few months with them. In July, they proceeded looking into "second opinion options" to help

Other than that, I want to thank you all for your support and continued patience (especially with my Commissioners. I don't like keeping Commissioners waiting, especially for such long periods of time).

However, if things start to take a turn for the worse with their health, I will be sure to let you all know and focus my time taking care of them in their last moments.

That being said... If their health progresses well and nothing gets worse through the rest of September, I will be returning from Hiatus early starting in October.

So far, their health hasn't gotten worse over the months since April when I was given the news, so, fingers crossed that their lifespan left will be more than the 6-9 month expected period.

Now... In late July, said family member was looking into Second Opinion options to prolong their limited lifespan left, and they have currently been taking the treatment for it.

I chose 6-9 Months specifically to take the Hiatus because, well, I have an immediate family member that had that much time left to live. Which, would mean their "'Time's Up' from this world" would be centered around the Holiday Season (Late Oct. to Late Dec.)

While I still won't go into explicit detail of the reason (People (not naming names) who want me dead "sit on my accounts" so to speak for me to have a vulnerable moment so that they can strike me at my lowest)

As you all know, back in early April, I announced a sudden "Going on Hiatus" announcement, emphasizing that the hiatus was not something that I wanted to do, but something that I had to do. I didn't go into detail as to the reasons why, but I chose 6-9 months for a reason.

So, if that's the case, and it /doesn't/ happen... then expect me to return to making art in the scheduled Hiatus length I previously mentioned (6-9 months from the initial Journal posting)

Just dropping by to let you all know that I'm still alive, though am still on my unplanned Hiatus. However, I've recently gotten an update that may allow me to come back earlier than expected~ Don't hold your breaths though. That update is still up in the air and has a probability of not happening.

I /wish/ I could go into detail about it, but, unfortunately, there are people out there that like to kick others while they're down, so I'm going to have to be vague

Just letting you all know, though so it won't seem like I'm ghosting my profiles lol

But, yeah, I'll see you all when I get back!

Hey guys.
Just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be taking a few months Hiatus to take care of some Life Things that have recently come up

To my commissioners (those who are reading this right now. If not, I'll be getting in contact with you to update you on my situation to give you a heads up on why your commission will be months delayed): I'm Sorry. I know that might not mean much. It might make it seem like

And, don't get me wrong, I would love nothing more than to keep to my promise and not make my commissioners wait any longer on the art that they paid for. However, life throws things at you that you have no control over; so, you have to re-prioritize everything in that moment.

But, to keep it simple: Something extremely dire has come up in my life.

Something that needs my attention now more than anything.

(i.e. "Your cat died because you did (this thing to us that hurt our feelings years ago)" <-- Something they said to an actual former friend, not me), and I really really don't want something like that thrown at me while I'm going through these things for the next 6-9 months.

I'm not going to go into detail about what's going on (namely because there are people out there that sit on all my accounts waiting for the opportunity to throw things in my face to mock me while I'm down
