One thing I really enjoy about working as a bookkeeper in the accounting industry is how many men with a wardrobe comprised entirely of clothes their spouse picked out for them at Costco are convinced my job is easy & will be quickly replaced by AI.

I really need everyone with critical thinking skills to consider why tech that can't actually do what it claims to do is being stuffed into every product in our industry.

If someone's discernment is that poor, if their critical thinking skills and empathy are that low, I don't trust them to make a grilled cheese sandwich. I'm certainly not interested in prioritizing their comfort over the harm they've caused.

How am I supposed to give grace to people I can't trust? I see people demanding we give grace & provide a soft landing to people finally abandoning maga, but how?
