Hard fought win in a low scoring game on the road at Gorseinon today. Great spell of 8 overs 3-10 from Bryn Williams and Mel Jones saw us over the line with an unbeaten 52*

An absolute thriller down at Gowerton yesterday. Aber scored 237-9 (Steff Roberts 86, Gareth Lanagan 45) in40 overs but Gowerton 3rds launched a brilliant chase and ended up just 5 runs short on 232-7. Credit to our (mostly youthful) bowling attack, especially Iestyn Roberts (3-38).

An amazing few days for Aadi and Nishka Khare. Aadi picked up 6 for 5 against Llandeilo 2nd XI on Saturday; Nishka took a hat trick against Llandysul U11s this afternoon. Seriously talented siblings!

An excellent unbeaten stand of 153 between Steff Roberts (96*) and Bryn Williams (57*) helped Aber clinch a 9-wicket victory against a tough Landore side today In a 30-over contest, Aber reached the target of 176 with 11 balls remaining. Da iawn bois 👏👏👏

Stand-out performance came in the WWCCC home fixture against Talybont Rachels with an incredible innings of 179 from Steff Davies - an Aberystwyth CC individual record that included 9 maximums, with six of those clearing the train tracks! An afternoon to remember, well batted Steff!

Last weekend produced excellent results for the club, with a victory at home and also down South 👏 Da iawn pawb!

Back in 1987, Moseley CC played Pontarddulais CC at U13 level. I was playing for Mose. Stephen Rees was playing for Bont. 38 years on, I encountered Stephen in a Pontarddulais vs Aberystwyth match in the South Wales Cricket Association. Great to share a beer and some memories afterwards 😀

Unfortunately, due to the possibility of thunder and lightning this afternoon/ early evening, we have taken the decision to postpone today's All Stars and Dynamos coaching. We won't be losing any of the sessions, we'll simply start the 8-week programme next week (Monday 19 May) instead.
