One of the items on the agenda is capping the amount an entity can tax property. Funding for public schools has not kept up with inflation. Therefore, school districts are forced to increase property taxes to cover the shortfall. This legislation is intended to starve public schools.

This is where the revolution is going to happen - not in the big cities.

So Trump is making the IRS hand over tax data to help deport more immigrants.

But a few years back the entire Republican party had a conniption when the IRS got funding to audit billionaires and big corporations.

Very cool. Totally normal.

So we can't provide healthcare because we're "broke."

We can't guarantee Social Security because we're "broke."

We can't fund education because we're "broke."

But we have $1 TRILLION for the Pentagon and $5 TRILLION for tax breaks that mostly go to the rich?
