Got the darn thing to compile but uh...

Like holy moly the amount of breakage lol. no wonder the og dev dropped out after getting a job.

But Im using this as a learning opportunity for both rust and godot, and perhaps make my self a native vtubing app on linux (because i dont want to run multiple proton instances just to do basics)

There clearly is alot more stuff for me to fix on godot side and the rust side as conventions have changed between godot 3.5 -> 4.5, AND especially in godot-rust 0.1 -> 0.4...

Atleast I got the rust side to finally compile, but i do need to update some conventions regarding Logging.

Started to look into vpuppr which is a long abandoned possible vtubing app that would run natively on linux... been converting it to using latest version of godot 4.5 trying to clear dependency rot and let me say its a bit tricky with no on anything related.

Still tho, looks promising. unfortunately I have to switch between hyprland and kde Plasma just so i can vr to work tho, but in hyprland normal games work. Still need to tune everything to my liking however.

so probably as a streaming topic, I could see i make anything of the vpuppr godot software and maybe take over it, and make it as my "recovery" project.

The only, ONLY downside is that vtubing apps do not work.
I haven't streamed for a while, so its not -that- big of a deal, but I do plan to stream again after I recover from my tumor removal surgery, as i will probably need to train to recover my facial muscles anyway.

I got my Bigscreen beyond working on Archlinux which is fucking nuts. Played a bit of synth riders and everything worked (almost) as well as it did in Windows. Tried some other games as well and they were working tolerably.

I think i can finally migrate away from microsoft.

So apparently i have a tumor.

In my mid 30s. Prognosis is good so far.

I will have to have my back of neck opened. And will leave some scars. Has a tiny risk of paralysis of the side face.

I’m doing my best. I shudder at the thought that if i hadnt
gotten a concrud at EF i wouldn’t have noticed.

I just thought about it…. Ive lived longer in my own apartment than any single house my family lived in ever…. We moved often, nearly every 1-2 years

No wonder i have so few lasting childhood friends. Ive now lived 13 years on my own

At wordt the drift is just position of your head and hands vs rest of body

It is less than those yes :)

Also when ever you turn the headset off and on or it loses tracking for a bit.

There is some minor drift but when trying to combine something uses mm precision sub millisecond timing (lighthouses) and another other that uses uses visual medium they will eventually go off sync :D

It did need some form of recalibration every now and then due to minor drift back when i experimented with it jut it was a while ago

If I don't recover on these current antibiotics, and have to be opened one more time I swear I want them to do a scan before because them poking around there again only to end up in the same conclusion is getting old. Ive seen enough of my blood (especially since the operation is done conscious)

Last week Tuesday the concrud from EF finally caught up to me and I was bass-boosted until Thursday when i found out a One side of my tonsils was inflamed in my throat; an Early Quinsy.

5 days since, the back of my throat been opened up twice, folds searched for pus and changed antibiotics.

Nope titans can also have them they simply are generated overworld while forgotten beasts are in the cave layer iirc.
Just depends on properties of the creatures :D

Have a good presentation and ”break a leg”!

More worried about webs and deadly dust than anything else :D
