One step closer to being self sufficient. we also got lucky and found out that the cabin is R24 in the celing.
It is hard to consider a more meaningful life than having to be intentional for every decision. Yes, sometimes we are exhausted but at least it feels like it has meaning.
We didn't hook up to the grid because that was going to be 20k. We won't have anywhere near 20k into this configuration and we will be able to run anything we *want* to, including a Dryer as well as anything we need to, such as the Well pump.
For a total cost of less than 10k.
The main cabin will have 32 panels. The guest cabin already has 2 panels and the last 4 are going to the She-shed and Shop.

The panels are performing remarkably well and we just ordered another pallet. That will bring our total solar panels to 66 @ 327w for a theoretical max output 21.5Kw.
