Conditioning is a good word to describe it. I’m glad there are a growing number seeing through it. Eng needs to change so badly for its own sake.

I was born and raised in Eng but left 20 years ago. I’m questioning everything I was taught. BB is part of that. It’s going to be a big problem getting through to Eng. They can’t see it bc of what they have learnt in school. Imperialism/Empire/Royalty runs thru. It’s sad. I see it, they will never.

The crux of the story is to get the message ‘we’re fed up of bailing out Europe’.
Unless you believe at the point of entering into a military operation you’re going to have a conversation about bailing out Europe between people who already agree about bailing out Europe.

Like America jumped in WW2 (eventually) they spent the money to protect themselves, not because they loved Britain. Everyone learnt that lesson. By spending on Ukraine you are directly stopping Putin potentially marching across Europe.

I wish you were right and maybe a war would help that but assuming no war….seriously a country that is bankrupt is not what the EU want. Like all entitled Brits you assume you can just walk right back in after what happened.
