Disastrous trend of defunding STEM research that will take too many years to recover from and derail countless careers.

Time for something similar for pesticides linked to neurological disorders, e.g. Parkinson’s and ALS. Perhaps then these companies would back off on pushing use of such toxic chemicals.

A friend of mine was exposed to pesticides the town sprayed in the area behind their house. He’s now in a losing battle with ALS. People, especially kids, exposed today will be facing cancer and neurological problems down the road. All so these chemical companies can make money?

As I say here, there is no scientific justification to revoke the engagement finding. In fact, over the last 15+ yrs, the evidence of how climate change affects our health has only grown. Higher risk of allergies, dementia, fertility, heart disease, and death: that’s what’s on the line. @nature.org
