And absconded with $500 million stolen from Venezuelans and squirreled it away into an offshore account in Qatar. Yet republicans do nothing.

Surviving on Trump's Dangerous Planet Yet another war, and yet another argument for an end to oil

"unlike the oil terminals we apparently bombed at Iran’s Kharg Island complex this morning, there’s really no good way to strike at solar energy, because it’s inherently decentralized. "

Sounds like it’s time to invoke real intelligence when reviewing public comments.

That we’re still debating this brings to mind Jane Goodall’s statement: β€œWe are the most intellectual species to walk the planet, but we’re not intelligent. If you’re intelligent, you don’t destroy your own home.”

Thanks to EDF for this fact sheet that makes clear what the cost is to wallets & lives of repealing the Endangerment Finding & our capacity to regulate GHG emissions. State by state results show 21 billion in added fuel & 16 billion to health in MN by 2055.

Time for something similar for pesticides linked to neurological disorders, e.g. Parkinson’s and ALS. Perhaps then these companies would back off on pushing use of such toxic chemicals.

Scientists: if you have pursued/secured philanthropic funding in the wake of federal research funding cuts, I want to talk to you.

This occurred to him about the time I stopped watching @cbseveningnews.bsky.social because they used euphemisms for climate change rather than the truth. I switched to @newshour.bsky.social and haven’t looked back.
CBS and Paramount are no longer a platform for the truth.

A friend of mine was exposed to pesticides the town sprayed in the area behind their house. He’s now in a losing battle with ALS. People, especially kids, exposed today will be facing cancer and neurological problems down the road. All so these chemical companies can make money?

There is No Scientific Justification to Revoke the Endangerment Finding The U.S. EPA's decision to repeal the Endangerment Finding will limit the government's ability to regulate emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act.

As I say here, there is no scientific justification to revoke the engagement finding. In fact, over the last 15+ yrs, the evidence of how climate change affects our health has only grown. Higher risk of allergies, dementia, fertility, heart disease, and death: that’s what’s on the line. @nature.org
