For the Leafs, some people thought the overtime win vs Columbus about a month ago might have been a turning point. First 22 games vs last 10. I wanted to compare those, and see how that change compared to other teams. I’ll go back to f-test and t-tests on those 2 sample sets.

Who's changed most in the last month? TOR, but not the most perpendicular to the contours. EDM and NSH improved the most, whereas SEA, VAN & CHI deteriorated the most. I know it's 5v5 compared to 'all' but I'm working with what I could find.

I was looking at Leafs' stats, and I thought, I'll compare with a really good team. I plotted D-Zone Starts% vs Corsi-For%, expecting a similar negative slope: higher DZS% = lower CF%. But No. Flat slope. Most Avs with high DZS% also have CF% >50% as well as the guys with low DZS%. Extraordinary!

Interesting that the Isolated Impact map shows defensive zone shot suppression of -4%, because the Replacements chart shows [TOR] xGA/60 (Y axis) goes up from ~2.5 without him to ~3.5 with him, while he has little effect on team xGF/60 (X axis).
