Brendan Rodgers has said in a pre-Old Firm press conference that Adam Idah is "very close" to joining Swansea after the 24 year-old was dropped for the derby.

A fee has been agreed for Idah, thought to be under £7m, with the Irishman set to travel for a medical in the coming days. Swansea will pursue a left-sided defender to complete their transfer window.
