So, still working on MORTAL FOLLIES, but ADHD brain does what it does, and I’ve now also read CINDER HOUSE by @freyamarske.bsky.social. What a delightful, fresh retelling of Cinderella. It beautifully incorporates the foundations of the story we love, while also reimagining the context. I loved it.

I read such a predominance of queer romance that it's always wild being reminded that for a huge portion of the genre readership, some tropes usually fall along gendered lines.
