I feel like it's a lot of that. I think some people don't realize how much you can shape the world as you play. I ,ostly play short lifespan (played households aging off for unplayed unless they get close to my sims then I age them up with my sims) but love to see how the world shapes as I play.

I'll be honest I think a lot of the people obsessed with making forever saves are just making savefiles and forget that forever saves are meant to be repeatedly played in and not focused on the set up. Seeing so many creators make video after video setting up forever saves when that's not the point.

I kept getting this on my sims whenever they'd shower. It was kind of disturbing for a while.

About to load back into my pack legacy save knowing Jaqueline and Vanessa have 3 toddlers and Jackie is pregnant with twins... I think I might rebuild their house before playing. And maybe give Vanessa a makeover? I like her new hair and makeup but I didn't do her outfits.

So I guess I'm behind, just seeing Dick Chaney died? Worse I only saw it in the context of an incredibly embarrassing post by a politician saying how sorry they were he's passed. War criminals responsible for millions of deaths shouldn't be mourned nationally. Saying nothing is always an option.

I'm going to to be real, glad adventure awaits was the last sims 4 dlc I was getting (a friend won it for me), because creator kits by people who post to cf is not it. Not it at all. Also waiting to see people go through the update (fixes and possible glitches) before I personally update.

Like if they could run their servers in rich areas that there are acres and acres with very few people living there and minimal wild life, I wouldn't care. I can think of a few places like that. But I doubt the 1 or .01 percent want to give up their golf courses for servers.

I'm going to say this now and likely regret it, if in the US, they could support AI without destroying the environment and fucking up impoverished parts of the country, I would find it annoying but I wouldn't be against it, as much. (Generative AI, I'd still be against but otherwise I'd be neutral)

I've heard similar multiple times I always think/say the same thing "Id rather be a woman than whatever they deem a lady anyday". Ladylike is overrated, but womandom holds power, as does just being a human beyond gender. Personhood all on its own does. Beling a "lady" is a box, I've always rejected.

Which is Fascism.The literal opposite end of the political spectrum. If you hear a journalist, politician or pundit call it communism, either they don't know what the word means or they don't actually want things to change that much.

Twice lately, lately as in the last couple days, I've seen the what's going on in the US compared to communism, now while I don't consider myself a communist, let's not let the narrative be spun that they are communists. It's authoritarian hyper capitalism, headed toward it's inevitable end point.

Just making a guess now but the creators who say nothing and do nothing in response to the EA buyout will be the same who continue to use and recommend CF exclusive things and/or if the make cc and mods post exclusively to there. Levels of apathy are rarely unique. I'm being generous it that.

I think most aren't saying blame maxis for the buyout, and while the game state can't entirely be put on them (budgeting and deadlines is on ea likely causing a more rushed product and excessive releases) yeah we shouldn't let them off the hook for the bugs in the game.

This makes me want to find my switch and play again, but I don't know if it's worth getting online again.

How does Hell feel EA, because at this point they've dug themselves pretty damn all the way there just on their own.

And encourage others not to give them money, any further. I'm done with fake allies.

And that choice is money clear, they not only don't support their supporters but they are money and corporations first, and I can't stand with them, nor put my support behind it. No one is saying don't play sims, especially is it's you're entire identity only but separate yourself from EA now.

I'm glad to see some of the bigger creators putting people and morals above profit and that little commission from being in the EA creator network. Hopefully it will give everyone else the courage to leave because, speaking only for myself, anyone I see still pushing their code has made a choice.

Screenshot of a discord announcement: A bit late but most of you knew this was coming.. Just to make it clear where I stand on EA and the buyout. FUCK EA, Kushner, Affinity, Silver Lake and the PIF. I'm never spending another dime on anything EA nor will I be updating after the sellout officially goes through (beginning of fiscal year 2027). I had researched so I could type out all the issues with everyone involved but to simplify, they literally stand for everything I am against. From LGTBQIA discrimination and prosecution, prosecuting and imprisoning the press, MAGA, supporting Israel and Zionism as a whole, hyper-capitalism, oligarchy, and so many other atrocities (even just Kushner without everything PIF has done), it all amounts to, I wouldn't be me if I in any way supported them at all. As far as twitch and streaming goes, I will do what I'm committed to as far as charity milestones and our community house/save file but otherwise I won't be streaming sims at all outside of that. And I will make some sort of disclaimer when I do so. Outside of that there will be nothing more from EA on my twitch. But really won't be a huge change, Sims will still be around just not as often, and there are millions of other games to play.
