It's more so the wattage from the brick and the switch outputting heat. If you have a brick that can output the amount needed and fast charging cable its usually never an issue. Had this happen to my steam deck but not the port itself but the wire higher up.

There's an update thats internet required after the disc is inserted. My internet went down for a few hours and it messed with things.

You need to download the entire game. The game in its whole is 100gb. The disc contains the download for it. So what you technically have is the license on the disc. I've had this for most, if not all, of my ps5 games. Yes, it's playable offline IF you downloaded the game while connected.

No, they aren't its a decision they are choosing to move upon themselves. Also, the game key carts ARE physical carts.. this just means they're actively choosing to go the Sony, Xbox route where you require the download off the internet once you insert the disc. Death stranding 2 also does that.

Nintendo has no say in what the 3rd party does. It's why Cyberpunk is a full title, but the others ended up being key cards. At most, their push is for the first party to be on the cart.

Got to scream that to the devs since this one is luckily not nintendo. Cyberpunk was a full game because CDPR wanted to do it.

The funnier thing is that other consoles do this too, albeit sneakier. Nintendo just did the favor of letting people know if it's the actual full game or requires internet download.
