A poem for #EarthDay2025

It is with great sadness that we hear of the death of His Holiness Pope Francis this morning.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our Catholic community in Wales and around the world at this very difficult time.

Today & always, I’m deeply grateful for the incredible women in my life—those who are role models, those who love me, challeng me, guide me, encourage me, and push me to grow. You’ve shared in my laughter & my tears, raised a glass with me, & broken bread with me. I love you all ❤️

2/3 I paused in different places so mum could fill in some of the blanks and mum remembered every one. In the grief and pain God’s goodness and faithfulness is present, always. It is these moments, not the gifts, the tinsel or fairy lights

1/3 One of the highlights of this Christmas has been reading Luke chapter 1, the Christmas story, with my lovely mum this morning. The awful disease, dementia, takes hold of mum significantly at times. This morning as we read the story together,

Preaching tomorrow at a lovely Church in St David’s diocese. I’m talking about hope, eternal hope, and this evening the GWM and I watched “A Boy called Christmas” where it states, despite pain & disappointment, that “Hope is alive!”. I couldn’t agree more #Hope
