We're booked for a family reunion in Switzerland in the New Year. It will cost as much to board the animals as our airfare.

I like animals a whole lot more than I like people.
We're booked for a family reunion in Switzerland in the New Year. It will cost as much to board the animals as our airfare.
01.12.2025 23:19 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This puzzle is from the same folks who came up with the sushi puzzle. A whole bunch of mushrooms.
01.12.2025 23:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This was a fun puzzle, good finger feel. Fifty birds from around the world. Included a really nice poster.
01.12.2025 23:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Our feline assistant, Bean, helping as only she can. Jester the parrot and I also make an appearance.
18.11.2025 03:30 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And the latest puzzle. Paris.
18.11.2025 03:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Our second puzzle from Reykjavik. Midnight sun, with cats.
18.11.2025 03:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And here's the newest member of our family. Her name is Bean. Or Beanie Baby. Or Tiabeanie.
29.10.2025 22:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Here's the Asterix family portrait puzzle with no pieces missing.
29.10.2025 22:51 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The latest puzzle.
19.10.2025 20:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We just finished the first of 3 puzzles that we bought in Reykjavic. It was enjoyable. A nice souvenir of our visit, in every sense of the word.
08.10.2025 18:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We ended the cruise in Boston. Flew home. Whilst hanging out at Logan Airport, hubby visited the facilities. They have a Men's toilet. They have a Women's toilet. And they have this:
23.09.2025 23:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Actually, I lied. The picture is from the lunch we ate after visiting the penis museum. I guess in Iceland, everything looks like a penis.
23.09.2025 23:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0We returned to North America on a cruise ship. One of our port calls was Reykjavik, where we visited the Phallological Museum and bought some more jigsaw puzzles. I'll post the puzzles later, after we solve them, but here's a picture from the penis museum.
23.09.2025 23:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Anyway, we did the puzzle, and finished it today. It was challenging, because it's made of wood, which gives it a 3D kind of feel.
23.09.2025 23:23 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Took a little trip to England at the end of August. We went to Stonehenge. Bought a jigsaw puzzle. At the Visitor Centre, one wall was covered with quotes about Stonehenge. Including one from Nigel Tufnel.
23.09.2025 23:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0So, just for fun, yesterday we went back and reassembled one of our old puzzles. The 500 piece art supplies image.
We thought it would take us at least a couple of days.
Nope. It took us about 3 hours.
And another one bites the dust!
16.08.2025 20:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We just found the missing piece from the Asterix puzzle, hiding in plain sight on the floor.
At some future point, and not too far in the future, we will reassamble this puzzle and post a new photo.
Next up after Asterix was a lovely image from Asia, a floating food market. We finished that in about a week. Today we started our next puzzle.
28.07.2025 20:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We finished Asterix last week, but I'm only getting around to posting him today.
28.07.2025 20:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0We have been working steadily on Asterix. It's surprisingly challenging, and nostalgically fun.
14.07.2025 23:02 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And yesterday we went downtown and did some puzzle shopping. Started on Asterix after we got home.
08.07.2025 13:55 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0We finished Mont-St-Michel a couple days ago. It is GORGEOUS. I found it very enjoyable to solve.
08.07.2025 13:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We started our next puzzle a couple days ago. Another one from the French company who did the lighthouse puzzle. It's a lovely image of Mont Saint Michel. And it's a joy and pleasure to put together. 10/10 will buy more puzzles from this company.
29.06.2025 19:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Finished the latest Cobble Hill puzzle. Some of the individual flowers were fun to put together. But on the whole, I did not enjoy solving this puzzle. The missing edge piece did add to the annoyance factor.
28.06.2025 14:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Okay, I liked the last puzzle very much, and it was enjoyable to solve. But THIS one, I loved.
Challenging, but never discouraging. A gorgeous image. And the "finger feel" of the pieces is really nice. It's a French company, and their puzzles are of French landmarks. They have some lovely images.
This is my favourite puzzle so far. Enough similar colour patches to be challenging, shapes that caress the eye.
01.06.2025 21:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This was the dragon puzzle that I've posted above.
30.05.2025 00:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0After we finished the dragon, we went back to a puzzle we'd done back when we were starting out. Cats at some kind of tea party, I think. It made for a lovely break.
30.05.2025 00:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Been a while since I've posted our puzzles. We finally (after well over a month) finished the dragon puzzle from Cobble Hill. There were times when I thought it wasn't fun any more.
