I would be FAR more skeptical if they announced a women's team coming to Cleveland. I think this is good news for HSG's commitment to Columbus, as is the increased share owned by the Edwards family.

It doesn't stop them from building the stadiums, either. I can tell you Nationwide never wanted a stadium where they built LDC. It's empty 330 days a year (in a good year). I doubt a stadium helps neighborhood real estate prices.

I do think pro sports teams have economic benefits for the city.
