A very contrasting photo! Of me wearing a yellow t shirt worn my hair scraped back, I look a bit grubby and I'm lying on the ground underneath the floor of a house where I'm fitting central heating. There's copper pipe next to me. I don't look like the other photo but I've got a big smile on my face!

And just like that, in less than 24 hours I went from photo 1, to photo 2. From holding my own live on the BBC to getting straight back under the floor fitting central heating 🙌🏻

Nadia is amazing btw, don't want this to come across as bashing her. But it's mad that it feels she's held hostage by a right leaning leadership, when the by-election result indicates there's a real desire for progressive politics.

Strong and needed words, but is it too late for Labour? The leaders decided to chase fash votes, and define themselves against the Left long enough to make them into a glass bubble full of petty wankers. Change Is Possible, but I'm not sure it's possible without changing the top layer completely.

If I had a huge but shallow majority in parliament and was looking at a situation in which the right was a minority but broadly unified whilst the left was a majority fractured over multiple parties I would simply introduce PR right now.
