PROPOSING TO YOU RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW π
Everything you draw makes me FERAL, Anri, FERAL!
Monochromatic drawings of Riley on his stomach with balaclava holding for his dear life with his bright pink restraints and a collar with leash. Getting pounded hard in his ass by Captain MacTavish. His ass is all red from spanking.
The best back I have ever drawn honestly. π

Riley needs help and Mac is willing, /desperate/ to give it. All Riley has to do is say okay.
Silence stretches on, Mac ready to start begging at this point.
"One condition."
"Anything." He shouldn't promise.
"Be my guide. No one else. Just me." Riley's demand.
Mac accepts.
(26/26)
sleeve still up.
"Look, I don't know you or what you've been through, but just let me help you." No response. "I can guide you as much or as little as you'll allow, I just--please. I can help. I want to help." It doesn't matter that they've only just met. (25/26)
The esper seems to contemplate the question before he's pushing his sleeve up, revealing pale skin stained with black tract marks. Mac's impulse is to reach out, to help, but he reins it in. " 's too late."
"Bullshit." Mac says, not thinking. "You're still here."
Riley doesn't respond, (24/26)
What has this man been through to not trust a gui-
Fuck.
Mac understands now. Skin fully covered, apathy to his circumstances...
Putting his hands up, he stays against the wall. "Price called me for a reason. You trust him?" Riley cocks his head at that. (23/26)
Taking advantage of that is cruel and, short of a total corruption, Mac won't touch an esper without explicit permission. Now is no different.
Riley shifts slightly, leaning back in his chair. "Right." Like he doesn't believe it. (22/26)
"Not planning on forcing yourself on me, making me take the guiding?" Oh, his voice is nice /and/ he's snarky? Are they sure he's about to corrupt?
"Nah, not my style. Rather you ask me to."
The bond between espers and guides is sacred. (21/26)
I'm Soap, I'll be your guide for today. Can I get you started with anything?"
It's easily the stupidest thing he could've said and for a painfully long time, there's silence.
Then Riley huffs a laugh.
It's soft, barely audible, but Mac catches the sound in the otherwise silent room. (20/26)
The soldier doesn't acknowledge that he's no longer alone, keeps his eyes fixed on the table. Or, Mac assumes, since he's wearing sunglasses. He's quiet for a moment before he leans against the wall.
Giving Riley space seems like the best bet.
Clearing his throat, "So... (19/26)
Esper starts corrupting. Guide comes in. Guide touches esper. Guide guides esper. Esper doesn't corrupt.
That's it, that's the job, that's how it goes, and that was his fucking plan here.
Price's expression says he's serious, Mac simply nods and enters the room. (18/26)
It's eerie.
"Right." Mac says, dropping his coat over a chair. "Best get to it, then."
"Soap, wait." Price stops him, "He won't... he's... don't just touch him, right? Give him a choice."
Since when does a corrupting esper get a choice on if they receive guiding or not? (17/26)
Most espers act erratic before they corrupt, lashing out, being aggressive, showings signs of their mental deterioration, but not this one.
Why him? What makes him so different and special?
With an ability like raising the dead, it's no wonder he's an S-Rank, but he's so calm. (16/26)
a moment, arms crossed over his chest, "Simon Riley. S-Rank." He pauses before saying what he's been avoiding this whole time. "Necromancer."
Fucking hell. It's true.
Mac watches Riley carefully, only seeing minute moves as he sits there in total silence. (15/26)
Their powers flare out of control and very few can be brought back from that point.
Most have to be put down, something Mac has had to do more times than he likes to think about.
This time'll be different. He's here, he can help.
"Again, Price. /What/ is he?"
Price sucks his teeth for (14/26)
The tell of a corrupting esper is the creeping black veins that run, superficial, over their skin as they work towards the heart.
If an esper doesn't receive guiding in time and the corruption reaches their heart, it's over. (13/26)
"Christ, Price, what are you doing w-"
"He put himself in there." Well... at least he's a self aware esper? Maybe? Hard to tell with the man covered head to toe in black clothes. (12/26)
Around the bend of a hall, three armored guards stand outside a door, but they take the one before it.
The interrogation room Mac can see through the two-way mirror is heavily reinforced and devoid of all but a table and chair.
And a man. (11/26)
Espers are a highly sought after asset in the military and everyone's quick to boast about theirs, so if Price is holding back... it's gotta be him. The necromancer.
Price starts walking quickly, leaving Mac to have to jog to catch up with him. He's about to protest all of this. (10/26)
Price stops walking, back to Mac as he stands there. "S-Rank, got a unique ability, he does." Oh? Price is a lot of things, but cagey isn't one of them. He's hiding something.
"I can't walk in there blind, you get that, don't you?" There's a sinking feeling in his gut. (9/26)
He's itching to ask about the necromancer rumors, but that can wait until after he's seen to the soldier in need. Price'll owe him, then, and he can play it up to get the intel everyone's been dying for.
"You haven't told me what he is." Mac points out as they head down a hall. (8/26)
It's not Mac's first rodeo, getting called in the middle of the night for a soldier about to lose their shit.
Shrugging out of his jacket once they're inside, he follows after Price so he can look around. The place looks normal enough, like any other base he's been on. (7/26)
