The Hand Of Fear (1976)

A fun twist on the status quo of serials with this sort of plot device, with the villain taking advantage of the Doctor's assumption of them being an innocent being trying to survive. Sarah Jane's departure is also done very nicely as well. Very fitting for her character.

The Seeds Of Doom (1976)

I was pleasantly surprised by the beginning of this serial being reminiscent of The Thing. As much as I love the more pathetic version of Poison Ivy being the villain here, I also enjoy Scorby as well. There aren't many examples in Doctor Who of an anti-villain like him.

While this serial isn't entirely filled with original ideas, I still managed to enjoy it. The aliens using a facsimile English village to plan their attack is a good idea, and the mystery factor is pulled off quite well.
