Retired and happily married with a newly developing passion for pineneedle coiled basketry.
This is my basket #9. 6.25" x 1.5"
This is my first bloodless basket. I am not sure if I should be happy or feel it is missing a part of me.
Center by Pam Wilson. Malachite 6mm beads, dyed longleaf pineneedles, and waxed .8mm braided polyester thread.
I said many thanks making this basket focusing on having the mind, eyes, hands, and most of all patience to enjoy this level of handwork. I have so many blessings. β€οΈ

Faceted 5mm tigereye beads and center by Pam Wilson (Pammyscrafts on Etsy). 5" x 3".
I can see my stitching is improving. I started using 2 treads and needles to attach the beads and they are finally clean enough to be acceptable to me.
