At the end of 2023, we posted a cryptic little teaser for what we had hoped would be our next project, a visual novel that would’ve built on the lessons we learned producing PENTHOS. However, as it tends to do, life has gotten in the way.
Trust us, no one hates that we’ve gone three years without our next production more than us. But as a team of only two, on opposite sides of the planet, we’ve always been at a bit of a disadvantage. We’d like to say this has never stopped our ambitions or our desire to tell stories, but the truth is it has. There are obstacles we have to overcome, and unfortunately this year, they won. They will not in the future.
Make no mistake: we still fully intend to tell these stories. In a world that’s growing increasingly colder to art and the people who make it, our conviction has never been stronger. And when we get there, we hope we get to work once more with the wonderful voice actors, musicians and other artists who’ve supported us since our debut. For the time being, we shift our focus to solo projects, in an effort to grow and become the collaborators our stories — and you, our congregation — deserve.
