With three laps left, it looks like Norris is going to hold off the Ferrari challenge, barring something extraordinary. Hamilton is now right behind his team mate, it's been a tremendous last drive for Mercedes from the British legend.

Leclerc has moved up ahead of Russell and on to the podium in 3rd behind his Ferrari teammate Sainz and crucially also behind Norris out in front. It's getting tight in the standings ........

Charles Leclerc has pitted early for Ferrari as has Carlos Sainz, they will be hoping to end up ahead of Russell and Norris once everyone has gone in.

Meanwhile, Red Bull's Sergio Perez has been quoted by BBC F1 reporter Jennie Gow saying that his early spin "summed up his season"

With Sainz now in 2nd, McLaren will be hoping for Norris to hold on to his lead to help them secure the constructors championship. 🏆
Meanwhile both Verstappen and Piastri has been hit with a 10 second penalty for their part in the collision on the first corner.

🚦 Lights out and we're off! Drama on the first corner!
Piastri is sent spinning off the track in a clash with Verstappen. He manages to stay in the race but he is now at the back of the track.
The other Red Bull Sergio Perez leaves the track almost straight afterwards and he is out of the race!
