Today's BMJ investigation exposes the widespread exploitation of locally employed doctors, who face dire terms and conditions and lack clear development opportunities.

We're clear the Government must urgently address this situation by mandating fair, standardised contracts.

Sexism and sexual violence towards medical students This report shines a spotlight on the urgent issue of sexism and sexual violence in UK medical education, as identified by medical students themselves.

All medical students deserve to be safe at university and on placement.

Earlier this year, we surveyed medical students in collaboration with @survivinginscrubs.bsky.social to understand how sexism and sexual violence is impacting students.
