In moddb.com you can still find quite a bunch of mods, many were half-completed projects but others (one of muy favourites is Thrawn's Revenge) are really good. The most pro ones left us a big load of good screenshots, I use them as pictures for custom X-Wing pilot cards of rare starfighters.

Legends is the best thing that hever happened to the saga. One day you are a 5 years old kid watching a special chapter of the childish Droids cartoon about a droid that has a harem of R2 units and suddenly you are 20 and that robot is part of the reason the Yuuzhan Vong began a genocidal invasion.

There is always that moment in any Engineering Design team in which you run out of ideas and start checking 4000-years-old sketches from the drawer of the guy just got retired.
