When I was a teenager in the 80s things weren’t always great, but there was a sense that we were moving forward, that the world was getting better for women and girls.
But now this aggressive sexism and entitlement has become permissible again. We’re regressing.

People of a certain age may recall the 70s, under Reagan, Thatcher, Mulroney and Pinochet, when free universities became a resistance thing. History is never linear.
