Where are Hamas's bases? Where are/were it's leaders and its tens of thousands of combatants?

Much of Israel, including the IDF, does not believe that all Gazans are Hamas, but Hamas has used much of Gaza for combat purposes.

Telling Trump "it's what dictators do" probably only excited him about a military parade. They should have said "it's what weak leaders do".

I don't think Israel would deny that it's at war with Iran. The denial here seems to be from many people who ignore that it's Iran that has been on a one-sided crusade to annihilate Israel, developing the means, and deliberately attacking Israel through proxies to then claim to be the victim.

The problem here is not that Trump "threat" (which is not genocidal), but that the term genocide has been so cheapened lately that almost any utterance made by someone they oppose is now deemed to be a threat of genocide by many scholars, politicians, human rights officials, and commentators.

I'm suspect your point will go over most of their heads.

Notice that they say that they stand with the "revolutionary Iranian people", meaning the regime and its supporters, not the actual Iranian people.

That lie that Israel is a warmongering nation that wants to destroy other nations is part of the very campaign to eliminate it. It's pure, unadulterated projection.

The biggest misconception/lie about the Israel-Arab-Iran conflict is that it's Israel that wanted/wants to attack, to fight wars and to annihilate other countries. In fact, it's exactly the other way around.

I am quite convinced that the blocking and listing of anyone pro-Israel, Zionist, or even anyone just saying it's not a genocide, is a deliberate strategy to lower the engagement and reach of that point of view, rather than an emotional response.

It helps him in the very short term for sure, but in the medium to long term it will depend on the success of the strikes and the final outcome of the situation.

Imagine that. The Israeli government threatening to retaliate hard if its civilians are targeted, as opposed to Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah who use their own civilians as shields.

Israel haters want people to believe that this is about Israel attacking places and starting wars, but it's Iran, along with its axis of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah and the Houthis, that seeks the annihilation of Israel, not the other way around.

It's hard to know how much of the decision making has been from Netanyahu and the government versus the plans and advice of the security establishment, but it's hard to argue that Israel hasn't had incredible strategic successes since the failures of Oct 7th (though of course Gaza remains unsolved).

When you feel an existential threat, calls for restraint don't tend to have much impact.

Israel should have done more to help Ukraine. Perhaps more was done in secret, but at least these strikes in Iran will stop Iran's assistance to Russia.

How can Israeli's attack on Iran be unwarranted and illegal if the window of opportunity to attack Iran would soon be closed? It cannot be the case that it is illegal for a country to prevent its own unprovoked annihilation. Iran is the one that wants to annihilate Israel. Not the other way round.

The Iranian regime was already driving Iran to nuclear weapons. There is no other reason to enrich uranium to 60%.
