I doubt he said it, but retirement funds by workers make up 1/4 of the stock market value (30 T)- publicly traded. That doesn't include brokerage accounts, which anyone can buy.
Private equity is NOT included because they are not publicly traded- see recent changes in 401k law.
So I'm calling BS.
