Between wearing contacts and raccoon-level black eyeliner for years, I've completely desensitized myself to touching my eyes. Running a pencil over my waterline for a few seconds is nothing.

I watched The Bay years ago when I had pinkeye (roommate's toddler brought it home from daycare). I needed some gross-out body horror to make me feel less disgusting in comparison. It worked very well!

I read Cabal as a probably too young child and thought I hallucinated it. Then I watched Nightbreed as an adult and realized it was a thing that actually exists. It still makes me cry and I want to live there with all the other freaks and monsters.
