She passed away this morning.

She’s strong as hell, so I believe in her. But it’s so scary right now. Pray for her if you’re religious please.

I know this is a downer to come back to this app on. But I just didn’t feel comfortable doing it on the other app with much larger follower count.

I saw her a month ago and she was as energetic as she always is. I visited her on Saturday and she was unconscious, hooked up to every machine in there, not even breathing by herself. I’ve been uncontrollably sobbing all weekend. It’s so fucking cruel and unfair that she’s going through this.

This is really personal, which is why I’m ranting on bluesky instead of Twitter, but I just need to rant about it.

A loved one is currently suffering from cancer. Several tumors in her brain. It came out of nowhere.

I should be more active on here

I actually agree with a lot of the (reasonable) criticisms of the Superman I’ve seen from my mutuals, but for now I’m just gonna too giddy as a Superman fan to talk about it. I’ll wait until I can be more objective and stop gushing over the Superman stuff I love to talk about those things.

Really hard to overrate water. They don’t call just anybody the universal solvent.

They have quite a good variety too. DC’s entire compact line amongst many other dc books, many marvel, and I found some image too.

I thought bluesky should know if they don’t already that Amazon currently has a buy 2 get 1 free deal on comics and graphics novels rn. Support local comic shops if you can, but if you don’t have one nearby and you want to start collecting trades, now is a good time.

I don’t think people are inherently ipset with sequels, prequels and spinoffs, quite a few of them are very successful and well received. I think the problem is when they don’t live up to the original, and exist solely because of the original’s success and not its own merit.

I need to use this app more so I’m not too dependent on twitter, especially since a majority of my mutuals I interact with a lot are on here anyway.

I tried the PS remote play for like one song in persona 5 dancing and realized PS remote play is kinda ass. Cool idea though but having to be on the same network as my PlayStation makes it pointless.
