Cover of Designing and Facilitating Workshops with Intentionality by Dr Tolulope Noah
Delivery took awhile, but I'm excited that @drtolunoah.bsky.social's new book has arrived, just in time for a flight. Looking forward to digging in

Memory Garden: Intergenerational Connection - James Kruck, PhD
A self-paced lesson on designing memory gardens to preserve cultural knowledge and bridge generational gaps, inspired by ancient wisdom traditions.
And now I'm wondering:
* How are others incorporating these dimensions into their learning design?
* Have you found ways to address the "spiritual" domain in your educational work?
If youβre curious, I turned my lesson into a self-paced experience

I responded to the challenge by designing a memory garden lesson that connects learners to the past through my educational and personal experiences. This experience was valuable, as it showed me how learning improves by fostering community in the classroom.

If youβre not familiar (I was not), LaFever's work explores how traditional educational frameworks (focusing on cognitive, physical, and emotional domains) might be expanded to include spiritual dimensions of learning. The spiritual dimension can help students find meaning, purpose, and connection.

Q5: weβd need systems (helped by AI?) that could learn about our learners and serve them the right course. So weβd need to know a lot about our learners. And if the learners were to choose their own paths, theyβd need some domain knowledge to make these choices. #LearnChat

Q2: the great thing about skills is that you can (usually) put them into use. For me, this can mean just building courses with new techniques or new technology or new frameworks. Of course, it can also mean just making stuff. Basically, I keep track by putting the skills to use.

Developing an Accessibility Statement
This resource helps you create an accessibility statement for your own website, mobile application, or other digital content.
An accessibility statement lets your users know you're committed to web accessibility. These statements usually include the accessibility standard applied, such as WCAG 2.1 AA. They also include contact information in case users encounter problems.

Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum - Wikipedia
I was cleaning out my Chrome bookmarks (yeesh!) and I came across a pretty cool page I'd forgotten about. The Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum collects Latin inscriptions; some of which you can view on Wikipedia (some are a tad explicit, but that's showbiz): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corpus_...

Interesting finding! I tend to use Claude for creative work more than I do ChatGPT - though I haven't tried out 4.5 yet.

There's room for improvements in both artifacts, of course, but I was excited to see what it could come up with with just minimal prompting. Being able to share the output as an artifact (rather than trying to host a page with the interactivity) is also very handy. (6/7)

In this scenario, the user takes on the role of a forklift safety consultant hired for a major project. Their task is to identify all potential hazards associated with the work, including risks related to processes, environment, personnel, equipment, and materials. (4/7)

Pulling from something else I'm fairly familiar with, I prompted Claude with building out an interactive scenario where the user is a forklift expert (claude.site/artifacts/45...). (3/7)

Claude Artifact
Try out Artifacts created by Claude users
@emollick.bsky.social recent post on Claude's coding capability had me curious, so I created a couple of artifacts with it to see what it could do. In this first example (claude.site/artifacts/7e...), I asked it to create an interactive exploration of a poem of Horace I did a paper on. (1/7)
